This little bat will brighten any room. Easy to make and easy to hang.
Materials:
Empty toilet paper roll
1 sheet cardstock or construction paper in orange, brown, black, or white
Glue
Scissors
Googly eyes (optional)
Crayolas, markers
String or strong thread
blunt ended needle
How to Make:
From the cardstock, cut a 4 1/2 inch x 4 3/4 inches.
On the remaining cardstock, draw shapes for wings and a head.
Decorate the wings, head and body however you would like.
Glue the first piece of cardstock you cut onto the toilet paper roll to cover it.
Glue the wings to the back of the toilet paper roll at the seam of the covering.
Glue the head to the front of the bat.
Let the glue dry completely.
When the glue is dry, make a hole with the blunt ended needle in the back of the bat. Pull string through the hole and tie. This will let you hang up your bat so it can fly about your room this Halloween.
