Turkey Magnet

 

 

Materials

Small piece of brown craft foam

Scraps of red and orange craft foam

Six feathers-two each of brown, red, and orange

Clothespin

Googly eyes

Magnet 1 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch

Tacky glue

 

From the brown craft foam, cut out a shape like a bowling pin. This will be the body of the turkey.

Glue the feathers to the back of the body at the fat end.

Glue the turkey to the clothespin. Let dry.

Cut the wattle from the red craft foam.

Cut a small piece of red for the top of the turkey's head.

Cut a small beak from the orange craft foam.

Glue the beak onto the turkey.

Glue the wattle onto the turkey.

Glue the googly eyes onto the turkey.

Glue the small red piece you cut onto the back of the turkey's head at the top.

Glue the magnet to the back of the clothespin.

Hang on the refrigerator or give as a gift after your turkey has dried.
