Princess Diary

1 piece purple craft foam 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches

Small pieces of pink, green, and yellow craft foam 2 inches by 2 inches

Glitter glue

Fine tipped marker

Tacky glue

Paper 5 1/4 by 4 inches

Hole punch

Ribbon

Cut purple craft foam in half. This will be the cover for your diary.

From the green craft foam, cut a frog shape.

From the pink craft foam, cut a castle shape.

From the yellow craft foam, cut swirly shapes.

Glue the frog, castle, and swirly shapes to your diary. This is the front cover of the diary.

Let dry.

When your cover is dry, use the glitter glue on the castle, swirly shapes, and frog to make them shiny.

With a fine tip black marker, write on the cover. You can use the picture as an example, but you can change anything you'd like. This is your diary and should be special to you.

Use a hole punch to put two holes in each of the purple pieces and the paper. You will need to make sure the holes are all in the same place so that they will match up.

Place the paper between the front cover and the back cover.

Use the ribbon to thread through the holes and tie. This will hold your diary together.

Keep in a secret place and share your life with your diary often.
