Jeweled Coin Jar

Materials
Plastic jar (mayonaise jars work well)
Small amount of Model Magic Clay (Any color, although I used red.)
small sequins, rhinestones, or shells to embellish the jar
Small amount of craft foam in the same color as the clay you used
Marker
Glue
Clean your jar and dry completely.
Take the lid and set it aside.
Cover the jar with Model Magic. You only need a thin coat of this clay. Just spread it around evenly, leaving the lid clear. Also do not put the clay on the bottom of the jar.
Allow the clay to dry about four hours to overnight.
Decorate by gluing sequins, shells, rhinestones, or anything else you want.
While your jar is drying, trace the shape of the lid onto the craft foam.
Cut out the circle you just made.
Glue it to the top of the lid.
Use the marker to decorate the lid with your name or with a funny saying.
